Final Announcement: MAIN Platform Closure on February 1, 2025
Dear MAIN Community,
Nearly two months have passed since our last update, and we hope you’ve had enough time to move your connections and conversations to other platforms. Unfortunately, maintaining MAIN requires ongoing resources—both technical and regulatory in different countries—so we must close down the platform.
💜 Closure Date and Platform Shutdown 💜
– On February 1, 2025, we will turn off our servers. The website and mobile apps will stop functioning, and the MAIN apps will be removed from app stores by that date.
💚 Action Plan for Users 💚
Please complete the following steps by February 1:
1. Stay Connected Elsewhere:
– Exchange contact information with anyone you wish to keep in touch with.
– Community admins who want to preserve their communities should migrate to other platforms (e.g., Reddit, Telegram).
2. Convert Any Remaining MAIN Tokens from Ethereum to BNB:
– If you still hold MAIN tokens on Ethereum, we recommend bridging them to the BNB Smart Chain before February 1. After that date, the ability to convert MAIN (ERC20) tokens to MAIN (BEP20) will end.

3. Withdraw All Tokens from the App to BNB Smart Chain:
– Please withdraw any remaining tokens from your in-app balance to the BNB Smart Chain by February 1.
– Any tokens still in user balances or community reward funds on the platform after that date will be burned, and you will no longer be able to withdraw them.
💙 What to Do With Your Board Coins 💙
– You may sell your board coins now or keep them as a memento of your time on MAIN. If community admins decide to continue their activities on other platforms (e.g., Telegram), holding these coins could grant certain privileges or access to new communities.
– We will publish the source code for the interacting with board coins trading functions (buying/selling) so that community members may continue buying and selling board coins through independent services even after the platform closes.
💛 Fate of the $MAIN Token 💛
– The $MAIN token will continue to exist on the BNB Smart Chain as a BEP20 token, independent of the MAIN platform.
– On February 1, once withdrawals from Ethereum and the in-app balances are closed, we will burn all undistributed and unclaimed $MAIN tokens stored in our platform’s addresses. This will make $MAIN fully distributed among the community.
