Gutter Cat Gang Twitter Hacked, At Least $750K Worth of NFTs Swiped
The official Twitter accounts of Gutter Cat Gang, a popular Ethereum NFT collection, and its co-founder were hacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $750,000 to $900,000.
A wallet belonging to the attacker has already sold the stolen assets for around $640,000, as confirmed by AegisWeb3. The compromise occurred on July 7, with malicious tweets being posted. The Gutter Cat Gang team has managed to regain control of the affected accounts and has taken immediate action by contacting Twitter, law enforcement, and mobile authorities.
