A real phone number has appeared in the Fallout series - fans are convinced that it is hiding a secret
The first season of Fallout, based on Bethesda's post-apocalyptic role-playing game series, released late last week and is full of references, but what intrigued fans the most was the show's original secret.
According to the IGN portal , in the sixth episode of the Fallout series, the phone number of the Vault-Tec corporation flashes on the screen, by which consumers can reserve a place in the Vault.
The number (213-258-2858 for the US and 001-213-258-2858 for the UK) is offered by the character Walton Goggins. This is what awaits those interested at the other end of the tube (we advise you to turn down the sound):
That's right: almost 20 seconds of heart-rending screams of a man as if under torture. If you send a text message to the mentioned number, you can receive a much more professional (and painless) response from Vault-Tec.
“Thank you for texting Vault-Tec. The next appointment is possible in 33 weeks, stay tuned!” - reads the message from Vault-Tec. If you agree, the company warns that you may not be in touch on the appointed day.
The teaser is an obvious reference to Vault 33, where the show's heroine Lucy is from, but also, according to fans, an indication of the timing of the announcement: 33 weeks from April 10/11 to the end of November (28th/29th).
Fans predict that at the end of November there will be an announcement/release of Fallout 5 or, much more likely, news about the second season of the series - there are probably already plans for it. The first season is available exclusively on Amazon's Prime Video.
