Open Shokz OpenFit 2 headphones received dual speakers and water protection

Shokz has released OpenFit 2 open-type wireless headphones. Like the previous model of the series, the novelty supports bone conduction technology, but its acoustic characteristics have become better, and the design has changed slightly.

Larger audio modules measuring 21x11 mm compared to 18x11 mm in the original version are now responsible for sound playback in OpenFit 2. Each driver has two separate speakers: low-frequency and broadband for medium and high frequencies. According to the manufacturer, in combination with OpenBass 2.0 technology, this design provides high sound quality.

The autonomy of OpenFit 2 is up to 11 hours, and taking into account the battery capacity of the complete case - up to 48 hours. The headset case is protected from dust and water according to the IP55 standard, which allows it to be used for outdoor activities.

Convenient design provides comfortable wearing of headphones for a long time without straining the ear canal. In addition, the company has slightly redesigned the design of the device: the behind-the-ear mount is now made of soft silicone and has received a more curved shape.
The control system has also improved: OpenFit 2 has got both physical buttons and touch areas. Headphones use Bluetooth 5.4 to connect to other devices.
Shokz OpenFit 2 is already sold on the official website of the brand at a price of $180.
