August 2023. Results
Hello there! August has undoubtedly been a scorching month for MAIN, and it's time to dissect the highlights.
The past month marked significant shifts in the distribution of our ecosystem tokens. As anticipated, a rebalancing of rewards in favor of more active and decentralized communities resulted in a token migration away from some board coins. This, in turn, led to a dip in overall boards coins capitalization.
We also made it harder for people who were just trying to get a lot of tokens without really being part of the community. Although this prompted a departure of some users and did have a somewhat adverse impact on the overall count of MAIN token and board coin holders, we firmly believe this was a vital stride toward cultivating a more robust and dynamic community down the line.
But here's the good news! In August, we saw a lot more rockets being sent out. This means that the community is now better at rewarding good content, which is really cool.
Now, we're looking forward to seeing how all these changes will affect us in September!
