In light of the PEPE popularity, I'd like to discuss meme coins.
Meme coins are cryptocurrencies inspired by memes or jokes on the Internet and social media.
Often, meme coins exist due to community support, have little developer activity and rely heavily on FOMO.
Usually the popularity of meme coins is maintained until a new meme emerges and starts gaining more and more popularity.
Meme coins don't carry any new technology or any usefulness, but no other crypto has seen such rapid growth in value as memes.
Meme coins can pump 10x or even 100x in a day.
Even the most progressive altcoin with its breakthrough technology can't compare with such growth.
They are mostly speculative assets with high risks – if you buy a meme coin at the peak of the hype, you run the risk of ending up with a worthless coin with zero liquidity and trading volume.
There are long-livers among meme coins too, though they are highly volatile and are also widely used for speculation.
But unlike momentary meme coins, long-livers have very high liquidity, which makes them safer to invest in.
A prime example of a long-lived meme coin is DOGE, the very first meme coin in history.
And for DOGE holders we at EarnPark launched a strategy with 4% APY!
