Binance US received a licence to transfer money to Puerto Rico

The Financial Institutions Commissioner of Puerto Rico has granted Binance US a money transfer licence.
“Puerto Rico is an important market for the growth of cryptocurrencies, and we look forward to continuing to offer its residents safe, secure, and affordable access to a wide selection of tokens,” said Binance US CEO Brian Shroder.
Puerto Rico has gained a reputation as a cryptocurrency hub over the past few years, with investor Brock Pierce leading the effort to attract entrepreneurs to the island, which is now known for its cryptocurrency-friendly tax policies.
Earlier this year, the US branch of the Binance exchange also received money transfer licenses in West Virginia, Connecticut, and Wyoming.
