A rare Sonic Adventure disc was found, which was considered lost for more than 20 years

Thus, Sonic Adventure Tournament Disk was considered lost for several decades, but enthusiasts managed to find one of the discs.
Sonic Adventure Tournament Disk was created specifically for the Sega Dreamcast Mobile Assault Tour, which swept across North America for 22 weeks to introduce gamers to Sega Dreamcast before its launch. At the tournament, players were offered to try out the first level of Sonic Adventure. Participants were given only two minutes to collect the maximum number of rings, defeat the maximum number of enemies and earn the highest record for points.

The event does not seem very large-scale, but four winners went to the final race in Las Vegas, where the winner took a solid prize of $15,000 for that time. However, Sega Dreamcast turned out to be a failed console, and a few years later Tournament Disk became a local legend. Recently, he was found by enthusiasts from the Sega Dreamcast Info portal who are engaged in preserving the historical heritage of the console.
Moreover, fans have placed the image of the disc online so that anyone can download and play this legendary demo. By the way, the final version of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure Tournament Disk are not so different from each other: the first level in both is almost identical, and the build of the tournament version was recorded on discs just two days before the final game.
