The 3rd Match of the Womens Big Bash League 2022 was played today between Adelaide Strikers Women and Sydney Sixers Women at Ray Mitchell Oval, Harrup Park, Mackay. In which Sydney Sixers Women defeated Adelaide Strikers Women by 17 runs.
Sydney Sixers Women batted first after winning the toss, and started the inning very brilliantly although the first wicket has gone very quickly, Alyssa Healy and Suzie Bates came to start the inning, and the first wicket has gone very quickly just for 14 runs in the last ball of the 4th over, Alyssa Healy dismissed just for 2 runs in 8 balls, next batsman Ellyse Perry came to bat and handled the inning, and played a very brilliant century partnership of 131 runs with Suzie Bates for the second wicket, the second wicket has gone for 145 runs in the fifth ball of the final over, Ellyse Perry dismissed after playing a very brilliant half-century inning of 58 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 5 boundaries in just 44 balls, followed by Ashleigh Gardner came to bat and she remains unbeaten for 6 runs with Suzie Bates, and Suzie Bates played a very brilliant unbeaten quick half-century inning of 82 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 8 boundaries in just 67 balls.
