Razer Updates Blade 14 Laptop With AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS SoC And RTX 40-Series GPU

Razer announced the start of accepting orders for the Razer Blade 14 2023 compact gaming laptop. A key feature of the new product is its flagship octa-core and 16-thread Zen 4 processor Ryzen 9 7940HS, which includes the Ryzen AI algorithm accelerator and integrated graphics Radeon 780M with 12 execution units.

The Ryzen 9 7940HS processor operates in the frequency range of 4.0 to 5.2 GHz and has 16 MB of L3 cache. The Razer Blade 14 2023 offers a 14-inch display with an aspect ratio of 16:10, a resolution of 2560 × 1600, a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 3 ms. It specifies a maximum brightness of 500 cd/m²2AMD FreeSync Premium frame synchronization technology support and 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage.
The laptop is equipped with two slots for DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM memory and supports the installation of up to 64 GB of RAM. However, the manufacturer offers a choice of two memory configurations – 16 or 32 GB. Also, the novelty is ready to offer a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe solid state drive. As a graphics subsystem, the Razer Blade 14 2023 can offer a GeForce RTX 4070, but in the base configuration it is equipped with a GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card.
The Razer Blade 14 2023 comes with one USB4 Type-C (40Gbps), two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C (10Gbps), and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (10Gbps). Both Type-C ports have the alternative DisplayPort 1.4 functionality. There is also an HDMI 2.1 standard size. The laptop is said to support the WLAN standards Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The novelty received a keyboard with Razer Chroma RGB backlighting, a function that prevents keys from sticking, as well as support for the Razer Hypershift macro function, which allows you to set multiple actions on one key.
Depending on the configuration, the Razer Blade 14 2023 also offers a 61.6Wh or 68.1Wh battery that offers up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Razer Blade 14 2023 will be available in Black, Silver, and Pink color options & The laptop will begin shipping on June 20th. The base model with GeForce RTX 4060 (TDP 140 W) and 16 GB RAM costs $2,399. The version with 32GB of RAM and GeForce RTX 4070 received a price of $2699. In Silver, a laptop with 32GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 4070 costs $2,799.
