NFT from Bored Ape Yacht Club game "Dookey Dash" sells for 1000 ETH
If you were not aware, the creators of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection, Yuga Labs, launched their very first video game called "Dookey Dash".
Only the holders of BAYC (Bored Ape Yacht Club) and MAYC (Mutant Ape Yacht Club) NFTs would be eligible to play the game.
Dookey Dash is an endless runner game, where the goal is to stay alive and run as long as possible within the game; the farther and longer you go, the higher your score is.
The Dookey Dash event ran from January 19th to February 8th, and after all was said and done, the winner was announced to be Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson.
Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson is actually a professional esports player, who rose to fame by playing the wildly popular video game "Fortnite".
For winning the Dookey Dash event, Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson recieved a one-of-a-kind NFT called "the Key".
Now that you are all caught up, let us get to the real story.
Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson has officially sold the Key NFT to Adam Weitsman for grand total of 1000 ETH, which was approximately $1.63 million at the time of sale.
Before the final offer was accepted, there were submitted bids of 690 ETH by UpDAO and 999 ETH by 9GAG.
Now that the Dookey Dash game has concluded, it looks like a new game, called "Lick The Toads", is available to play, and even more will be coming in the future.

The craziest thing about this whole story is that the winner, Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson, is only 18 years old.....and he just sold an NFT for $1.63 million!
I need to take a moment to pick my jaw off the ground.
Good for this kid to have earned this life-changing amount of money, but I can't help but feel a tiny bit jealous lol.
What are your thoughts on this news?
Did you ever expect a video game reward to sell for over $1 million?
What would you do with $1 million right now?
See ya!
