The spectacled penguin reaches a length of 65-70 cm and a weight of 3-5 kg.
The spectacled penguin is widespread on the coast of South Africa and Namibia and nearby islands in the area of the cold Bengal current.
This penguin got one of the names because of its donkey-like voice.
These penguins can reach speeds of up to 20 km/h in the water, dive deeper than 100 m and hold their breath for 2-3 minutes, during feeding they swim 70-120 km in the ocean. This species feeds mainly on small fish.
