RedmiBook 14 (2023): Dolby Vision display and powerful hardware
The Redmi brand has released an updated version of the branded 14-inch laptop. It differs from its predecessor not only in the processor model, but also in its professional display. In addition, the laptop boasts a metal case, a decent set of interfaces and advanced built-in acoustics.
RedmiBook 14 received a 14-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels with 100% sRGB color gamut coverage and ∆E~0.41, which means very high color accuracy when working with graphics. In addition, the screen supports the Dolby Vision standard and is certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS for compliance with the requirements for low level of harmful blue lighting spectrum.
The novelty is available in two configurations - with an Intel Core i5-12500H or Core i7-12700H processor and a proprietary cooling system with two fans. The amount of RAM in both cases is 16 GB (LPDDR5), NVMe drive with PCIe 4.0 interface - 512 GB. The presence of two M.2 slots on the motherboard allows you to expand the disk space to 3 TB.
The laptop is equipped with two speakers with support for Dolby Atmos technology and four microphones with AI noise reduction. A 56 Wh battery with a power of 45 W charging is responsible for the autonomy of the device. The interface set includes two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and one USB 2.0 Type-A, as well as a Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1 and 3.5 mm audio jack. Complementing the list of features of the webcam (Full HD), the Wi-Fi 6 module and the NFC chip.
RedmiBook 14 will go on sale in China on May 22 at a price starting from $567.
